About the Festival
The Veterans Film Festival (VFF) is an annual event that puts the spotlight on stories about veterans, their families, first responders, and real or imagined genre stories about warfare and its influence on society. Screen programs will include feature-length fiction and documentary films, short films and other exciting content. The festival welcomes films from veterans and non-veterans.
2020 Veterans Film Festival – A Virtual Event
The 2020 Veterans Film Festival was held as a virtual event during the pandemic, with films available for viewing online and the awards presented in an online ceremony. The prestigious Red Poppy Awards, a significant part of the Veterans Film Festival, were made to the films U311 Cherkasy for the best feature film and to Trust Frank for the best short film.
